Panes Overview

Panes are the side panels in GearConnect that offer functionality and information to help you work with your projects. Other common names for panes are panels, widgets, or windows, but we use the term “pane” in GearConnect.

For a general overview of panes and other UI elements, please refer to App Layout or you may also refer to the specific pane documentation on the following pages.

Most panes can be opened or closed via the View menu in the top menu bar, their keyboard shortcuts, or by you can close them by clicking the X in the top right corner of the pane.
