My Reports

The My Reports Pane displays all the reports in the project, both stock reports and your custom reports (Pro feature).

Stock Reports

Above the divider, every user has three stock reports that are always available:

  • All Gear: All gear in the project, grouped by gear category.
  • All Ports: All ports in the project, grouped by gear items.
  • All Connections: All connections in the project, grouped by gear items.

These reports are editable, but not saveable. You can modify them to suit your needs, but they will revert to their original state when you close the project. To keep your changes, you can click on the Save Report As button in the toolbar to save a copy of the report as your own custom report (Pro feature).

Custom Reports (Pro feature)

Below the divider, all the custom reports that you have created are displayed. You can create a new custom report by clicking on the Save Report As button in the toolbar and giving the new report a name.

You can rename a custom report by right clicking the report and selecting Rename from the context menu. You can also delete a custom report by right clicking the report and selecting Delete.

Report URLs

All reports (like everything in the app) have a unique code. You can navigate directly to a report by copying the URL on the report, allowing you to create bookmarks to quickly jump back to a specific report.

Example:

https://app.gearconnect.ca/project/<Project Code>/report/<Report Code>

Stock reports will use their name instead of a code (e.g. ‘gear’, ‘ports’, and ‘connections’).
